Born on April 11, 1945 in Bradford, Ontario (Canada), Mike Kilkenny (Michael David Kilkenny) played for the Detroit Tigers, San Diego Padres, Oakland Athletics and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 5 year career. Kilkenny broke into the bigs on April 11, 1969 with the Detroit Tigers, and put up a 3.37 ERA in 128.1 innings pitched in 1969, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Mike Kilkenny's best season was 1969, when he posted a 3.37 ERA and struck out 97 batters.
