Mike Katolin (Michael Ross Katolin) was born on January 30, 1958 in Pasadena, California. After going to high school at St. Paul (Whittier, CA), Katolin attended Rio Hondo Community College and San Jose State University. Katolin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 1 year career.
