Mike Hennigan (Thomas Michael Hennigan) was born on October 24, 1951 in Davenport, Iowa. After going to high school at Washington (IA), Hennigan attended Tennessee Institute of Technology. Hennigan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the New York Jets and Detroit Lions over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1978 was Mike Hennigan's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
