Mike Hegman (Michael William Hegman) was born on January 17, 1953 in Memphis, Tennessee. After going to high school at Northside (Memphis, TN), Hegman attended Alabama A&M University and Tennessee State University. Hegman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 12 year career.
Most people believe that 1985 was Mike Hegman's best year, as he recorded 5.5 sacks.
