Mike Hedlund

Born on August 11, 1946 in Dallas, Texas, Mike Hedlund (Michael David Hedlund) played for the Cleveland Indians and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 6 year career. Hedlund broke into the bigs on May 8, 1965 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 3.24 ERA in 125 innings pitched in 1969, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Mike Hedlund's best season was 1971, when he posted a 2.71 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 76 batters.
