Mike Heath (Michael Thomas Heath) was born on February 5, 1955 in Tampa, Florida. He made his Major League debut on June 3, 1978 for the New York Yankees. In 1979, his rookie year, he hit .256 with 3 home runs and 27 RBI. Heath played for the New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, St. Louis Cardinals, Detroit Tigers and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 14 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Heath's best season was 1985, when he knocked in 55 runs.
