Mike Hammerstein (Michael Scott Hammerstein) was born on March 3, 1963 in Kokomo, Indiana. After going to high school at Wapakoneta (OH), Hammerstein attended the University of Michigan. Hammerstein made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played for the Cincinnati Bengals for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1990 was Mike Hammerstein's best year.
