Mike Halapin (Michael R. Halapin) was born on July 1, 1973 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Kiski (Saltsburg, PA), Halapin attended the University of Pittsburgh. Halapin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1996 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Oilers and Houston Oilers over the course of his 3 year career.
