Mike Haggerty (Mike K. Haggety) was born on October 14, 1945 in Royal Oak, Michigan. After going to high school at Shrine (Royal Oak, MI), Haggerty attended the University of Miami. Haggerty made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Detroit Lions and New England Patriots over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1967 was Mike Haggerty's best year.
