Mike Goliat (Mike Mitchell Goliat) was born on November 5, 1921 in Yatesboro, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on August 3, 1949 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .212 with 3 home runs and 19 RBI. Goliat played for the Philadelphia Phillies and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Goliat's best season was 1950, when he knocked in 64 runs.
