Mike Gibbons (Mike L. Gibbons) was born on January 23, 1951 in Duncan, Oklahoma. After going to high school at Colorado City (TX) and Duncan (OK), Gibbons attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University. Gibbons made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants for his entire 2 year career.
