Mike Garzoni (Michael John Garzoni) was born on August 19, 1923 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Santa Clara (CA), Garzoni attended California State University, Fresno and the University of Southern California. Garzoni made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Washington Redskins. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Washington Redskins the entire time. Garzoni also played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time.

Most people believe that 1947 was Mike Garzoni's best year.
