Mike Gardiner

Born on October 19, 1965 in Sarnia, Ontario (Canada), Mike Gardiner (Michael James Gardiner) played for the Seattle Mariners, Boston Red Sox, Montreal Expos and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 6 year career. Gardiner broke into the bigs on September 8, 1990 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 4.85 ERA in 130 innings pitched in 1991, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Mike Gardiner's best season was 1991, when he posted a 4.85 ERA and struck out 91 batters.
