Mike Elkins (Michael David Elkins) was born on July 20, 1966 in Fresno, California. After going to high school at Grimsley (Greensboro, NC), Elkins attended Wake Forest University. Elkins made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 1 year career.
