Mike Davis to step down after '05-'06 season

4
Vote

Indiana University men's basketball head coach Mike Davis resigned on Thursday, but will remain the coach of the team through the end of the season. Davis succeeded legendary coach Bob Knight in 2000. Davis led the team to a 21-13 record and an NCAA tournament appearance in 2001. The team also went to the tournament in 2002 and 2003 under Davis's leadership. After a 10-2 start this season, Indiana has lost seven out of ten games to fall to 13-9, including a 5-6 mark in the Big Ten Conference.
