Mike Curtis (James Michael Curtis) was born on March 27, 1943 in Rockville, Maryland. After going to high school at Richard Montgomery (Rockville, MD), Curtis attended Duke University. Curtis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts, Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks over the course of his 14 year career.

Most people believe that 1972 was Mike Curtis's best year, as he picked off 4 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
