Mike Current (Michael Wayne Current) was born on September 17, 1945 in Lima, Ohio. After going to high school at Lima (OH), Current attended Ohio State University. Current made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Miami Dolphins. He played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins over the course of his 3 year AFL career.Current also played in the NFL for 10 years, playing for the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 10 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1971 was Mike Current's best year.
