Mike Connelly (Michael James Connelly) was born on October 16, 1935 in Monrovia, California. After going to high school at Pasadena (CA), Connelly attended Pasadena City College, Utah State University and Washington State Universtiy. Connelly made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1964 was Mike Connelly's best year.
