Born on February 17, 1964 in Seattle, Washington, Mike Campbell (Michael Thomas Campbell) played for the Seattle Mariners, Texas Rangers, San Diego Padres and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 6 year career. Campbell broke into the bigs on July 4, 1987 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 5.89 ERA in 114.2 innings pitched in 1988, his rookie year.
