Born on June 24, 1951 in Jamaica, New York, Mike Bruhert (Michael Edwin Bruhert) played for the New York Mets for his entire 1 year career. Bruhert broke into the bigs on April 9, 1978 with the New York Mets, and put up a 4.78 ERA in 133.2 innings pitched in 1978, his rookie year.
