Mike Bordick (Michael Todd Bordick) was born on July 21, 1965 in Marquette, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1990 for the Oakland Athletics. In 1991, his rookie year, he hit .238 with 0 home runs and 21 RBI. Bordick played for the Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 14 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Mike Bordick's most productive season. Some believe that it was 2000, when he slugged 20 home runs, hit for a .285 average and knocked in 80 runs. However, others believe that it was 1999, when he hit for a .277 average and knocked in 77 runs.
