Mike Baxes (Michael Baxes) was born on December 18, 1930 in San Francisco, California. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 1956 for the Kansas City Athletics. In 1958, his rookie year, he hit .212 with 0 home runs and 8 RBI. Baxes played for the Kansas City Athletics for his entire 2 year career.
