Miguel Olivo (Miguel Eduardo (Pena) Olivo) was born on July 15, 1978 in Villa Vasquez, Monte Cristi (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on September 15, 2002 for the Chicago White Sox. In 2003, his rookie year, he hit .237 with 6 home runs and 27 RBI. Olivo played for the Chicago White Sox, Seattle Mariners, San Diego Padres and Florida Marlins over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Miguel Olivo's best season was 2006, when he slugged 16 home runs and knocked in 58 runs.
