Mickey Slaughter (Milton Eugene Slaughter) was born on August 22, 1941 in Monroe, Louisiana. After going to high school at Bolton (Alexandria, LA), Slaughter attended Louisiana Institute of Technology. Slaughter made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1963 was Mickey Slaughter's best year, as he tossed 12 TDs.
