[edit] Biography

Mickey Rivers (John Milton Rivers) was born on October 31, 1948 in Miami, Florida. He made his Major League debut on August 4, 1970 for the California Angels. In 1971, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 1 home run and 12 RBI. Rivers played for the California Angels, New York Yankees and Texas Rangers over the course of his 15 year career.
