Mickey Fitzgerald (Marion Maxwell Fitzgerald, Jr.) was born on April 10, 1958 in Lynchburg, Virginia. After going to high school at E.C. Glass (Lynchburg, VA), Fitzgerald attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute. Fitzgerald made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
