Mick Tingelhoff (Henry Michael Tingelhoff) was born on May 22, 1940 in Lexington, Nebraska. After going to high school at Lexington (NE), Tingelhoff attended the University of Nebraska. Tingelhoff made his professional debut in the NFL in 1962 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 17 year career.
Most people believe that 1962 was Mick Tingelhoff's best year.
