Michael Vick Opinion

I know this is a horrible photo (haha), but I thought it may bring a smile to this horrible subject. I looked at pictures of real dog fighting online, and it is hard to believe that a sane person could watch it. I'm tired of hearing people say "there just dogs" to excuse this behavior. I believe that God has given us the responsibility to treat what he created with respect. I do not believe that having these dogs fight to the death shows any respect for "man's best friend".

I think that he should be suspended until the trial is over. We have many jobs where you are suspended until the legal issues are resolved (teachers, police, etc).

I hope the Falcons and the NFL will do the right thing and not allow him to play until this is cleared up in the courts.

First, if Vick had abused another person, there would be much less outcry, which is sad. Second, because of his celebrity status, will Vick get more, less, or the same punishment if found guilty of the alleged abuses? Third, while entitled to a fair trial, Vick cannot expect a speedy trial...like the rest of America...

Vick did more than abuse the dogs, he tortured and killed them. I do not believe that dogs should be considered above humans, but these are terrible accusations. I believe that he will get the proper punishment from this court from all that I've read about it and it should be a speedy trial, since the court is known as the rocket docket.
