Born on October 18, 1976 in Havana, Cuba, Michael Tejera (Michael Tejera) played for the Florida Marlins and Texas Rangers over the course of his 5 year career. Tejera broke into the bigs on September 8, 1999 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 4.45 ERA in 139.2 innings pitched in 2002, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Michael Tejera's best season was 2002, when he posted a 4.45 ERA and struck out 95 batters.
