Acquired:
Selected in the fifth round (35th overall) by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 2006 CFL Canadian Draft.
College:
Played the final season of his collegiate career with the Indiana State University Sycamores after spending the first three (2003-05) with the Ohio State University Buckeyes…made 33 total tackles (16 solo) and broke up four passes in 14 career games between the two schools.
Personal:
Born September 16th, 1983 in Georgetown, Guyana and raised in Toronto, Ontario…is the son of Raymond and Jacqueline Roberts ... has one brother, Clive (25), who ran track at Central Michigan University…attended Central Tech in Toronto…was a standout performer as a junior and considered one of the top prospects in Canada...attended Ohio State's summer camp and was offered a scholarship...did not play high school football as a senior because of a teachers' strike at his high school and instead played for the Toronto Thunder, a club team...had seven interceptions for the Thunder.
