Michael Phelps

Click here to edit this page. Michael Phelps is arguably the best Olympian ever to have competed in the games. As a swimmer, Phelps won eight Olympic golds in Beijing in 2008 (and only competed in eight races). He is the only Olympian to ever do so, and passed the honorable Mark Spitz who won seven in 1972. Phelps competed in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics and has won a total of 14 gold medals and holds 7 current world records.
