Born on December 22, 1964 in Houston, Texas, Michael Jackson (Michael Ray Jackson) played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, Cincinnati Reds, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 17 year career. Jackson broke into the bigs on August 11, 1986 with the Philadelphia Phillies, and put up a 4.20 ERA in 109.1 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Michael Jackson's best season was 1998, when he posted a 1.55 ERA, notched 40 saves and struck out 55 batters.
