Mets Take Mota From Tribe

Personally I would have liked to see Mota stick around and see how he did in spring training next year, but oh well.

Mota really fell from grace. I think its a decent move to sure up the Mets bullpen. With all the Mets SP woes, if the Mets are going to make it, then they will need to win with their bullpen.

The question is where are the Mets going to get starting pitching from?

awesome pickup for the mets. cpcp's idea isnt half crazy, either. although you don't want to wear out all your relievers before the playoffs!

I think Manny Mota's O!F is higher at this point than Willie Mota's

ACTUALLY HIGHER POINTS THAN MANNY MOTA.. WILLIE WHO IS ACTUALLY SPELLED WILLY MOTA WHOM PLAYED IN THE HALL OF FAME GAME AND HOMERED AND DID GET TO PLAY ALOT WITH THE MAJORS DURING THE SPRING TRAINING SEASON FOR 2006 WAS OUT THE WHOLE SEASON ON DL LIST DUE TO A KNEE/SHIN INJURY. WILLY MOTA AND MANNY MOTA ARE NOT THE SAME PERSON. ALTHOUGH WILLY IS VERY KIND AND UNDERSTANDS THE CONFUSION WITH THE NAMES. HE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO THE 2007 SEASON. HIS KNEE/SHIN ARE BETTER AND HE IS WORKING OUT AND CONDITIONING HIMSELF WHILE IN DOM. REP. THE RED SOX HOPEFULLY WILL GIVE HIM THE OPPORTUNITY TO MOVE UP IN THE LEAGUE REF HIS BEING VERY YOUNG WITH ALOT OF TALENT.
