Merlin Kopp (Merlin Henry Kopp) was born on January 2, 1892 in Toledo, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on August 2, 1915 for the Washington Senators. In 1918, his rookie year, he hit .234 with 0 home runs and 18 RBI. Kopp played for the Washington Senators and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 3 year career.
