Dear Mr. Millen,
As The Sports Doctor, I advise you to make two decisions before you do something stupid. First, since you are given yet another chance to be part of the pathetic Lions organization, I would hire someone that knows how to run a football team because clearly you are not capable of doing so. Hire Floyd Reese, the longtime Titan's general manager, because he knows how to handle rosters. He has had success with the draft (drafting Vince Young, Pacman Jones), hiring coaches (offensive coordinator Norman Chow), and trades (running back Travis Henry). He might not be the top canidate, but he clearly is the best choice out there, unless you can woo Ron Wolf out of General Manager free agency.
The second decision you need to make is to not draft a quarterback in the first round and trade for extra draft picks. With that said, draft quarterback Drew Stanton with your second round pick. He is big, athletic, and can fit right into Mike Martz's system and Stanton is a hometown legend. Your approval rating might go up from 0% to 0.02%!
