Melvin Johnson (Melvin Carlton Johnson, III) was born on April 15, 1972 in Cincinnati, Ohio. After going to high school at St. Xavier (Cincinnati, OH), Johnson attended the University of Kentucky. Johnson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1995 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1996 was Melvin Johnson's best year.
