Melvin Anderson (Melvin Anthony Anderson) was born on August 29, 1965. After going to high school at Steel Valley (Munhall, PA), Anderson attended the University of Minnesota. Anderson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
