Mel Witt

Mel Witt (Hillery Melvin Witt) was born on November 23, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas. After going to high school at Fort Worth (TX), Witt attended the University of Texas-Arlington. Witt made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Boston Patriots. He played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the Boston Patriots the entire time. Witt also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Boston Patriots the entire time.
Most people believe that 1968 was Mel Witt's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
