Born on December 28, 1963 in Prosser, Washington, Mel Stottlemyre (Melvin Leon Stottlemyre, Jr.) played for the Kansas City Royals for his entire 1 year career. Stottlemyre broke into the bigs on July 17, 1990 with the Kansas City Royals.
