Mel Montalbo (Melvin James Montalbo) was born on March 29, 1938. After going to high school at San Lorenzo (CA), Montalbo attended Utah State University. Montalbo made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders for his entire 1 year career.
