Mel Kaufman

Mel Kaufman (Mel Kaufman) was born on February 24, 1958 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Santa Monica (CA), Kaufman attended California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo. Kaufman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1983 was Mel Kaufman's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
