Mel Jackson (Melvin Jackson, Jr.) was born on May 5, 1954 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Mount Carmel (Los Angeles, CA), Jackson attended the University of Southern California. Jackson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was Mel Jackson's best year.
