McNamara's Groin and the MSM

So. Having lost $200 thinking that 'cuse pick 'em was a bargin. What I want to know is: Where was the coverage about McNamara's condition? If it is true that he did not practice all week, why wasn't this picked up by ESPN or CBS? It was picked up by the bookies and sportsbooks (as indicated by the line). Its hard to imagine that that the professional gamblers knew but the professional reporters did not.

Furthermore, if his condition really was that serious, why was Boeheim playing him 40 minutes a game during the Big East Championship after 'cuse was already assured a selection?

The reason the NFL has a policy of disclosing injuries is to prevent the outcome where an "insider" makes up injury news for the purpose of getting favorable odds. Sooner or later, this is going to happen in the NCAA -- unless they develop the same. Or maybe, as demonstrated by this user, it already has.

some guys will play thru injuries if they are revved enough.....Mac had a week layoff..not nite after nite of huge Orange crowds at the Garden actually this makes his BE tourney performance all the more amazing
