McNabb Tears ACL, Is Done For The Season

Some bad news from today's Titans-Eagles game: Donovan McNabb, who was enjoying one of his best seasons thus far in 2006, tore his ACL after being pushed out of bounds by Kyle Vanden Bosch in the second quarter of Philly's loss. The play seemed harmless enough, but McNabb immediately grabbed his right knee, and had to be taken off the field on a cart. He will require surgery on the knee, and will be sidelined for 8-12 months, meaning that he'll miss the entire rest of this season, and a few games in 2007.
The Eagles dropped to 5-5 with their 31-13 loss to Tennessee, and backup QB Jeff Garcia will be forced to lead the team for the rest of the year.
