In a desperate attempt to make the Cincinnati Bengals roster, High School Basketball prospect, O.J. Mayo was found guilty of carrying marijuana. He and three others were found guilty of a misdemeanor. Unfortunately for Mayo, he was not arrested.
Mayo told the media, "The team told me I had to be arrested if I wanted to make the team. It's unfortunate because I have tried very hard to make it. I beat up a freshman, knocked down a referee, and now I carried pot. I thought I would be welcomed with open arms, but the team told me that my actions were too soft. I guess I'll have to step my game up."
The club said that Mayo must be accused or arrested on more serious accounts if he is to make the team.
