Maybe its New York

Yes A-Rod did not live up to his standard but maybe it wasn't his fault.

First off he is a player who thinks a lot about what people think, blame his upbringing for that. Second his "Captain" and the fans don't like him. Also few others in the lineup hit especially well vs. the Tigers either.

But I think its something else I think its New York. Now I don't think its the fans, no I think its because he is a New York third-baseman.

Where is my proof you ask well look at David Wright. Wright is hitting under .200 and has only one RBI and it was a solo-shot. So why are New York third-baseman doing so badly? Maybe the Hot Corner is just to hot in NY, but to tell you the truth I have no idea why this is happening.

So I ask the great ACGM sports gods to tell me and the world What is wrong with NYC third-baseman?

Quite simply, people are jealous of A-Rod. He's too polished, too calculated, too talented and (supposedly) too rich. Everyone who mentions how much he makes is an idiot (How much did his teammates like Jeter, Giambi or Mussina make?). But because he's sterile, we can't relate to him. Who likes people who they can't relate to? David Wright is a young, likeable guy; seemingly down to earth who has fun and enjoys the game. He's just like you and I. What's not to like?

I think its A-Rod who is most like us because he is insecure and because he is insecure like us we hate him because we hate that part of us. But I psychoanalyze to much.

I'm not insecure and I like A-Rod! (But I like Wright, too - even though I think Ryan Zimmerman is the better young 3rd baseman)
