Max Marshall (Milo May Marshall) was born on September 18, 1913 in Randolph, Iowa. He made his Major League debut on May 10, 1942 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1942, his rookie year, he hit .255 with 7 home runs and 43 RBI. Marshall played for the Cincinnati Reds for his entire 3 year career.
