Born on February 4, 1950 in Acula, Veracruz (Mexico), Max Leon (Maximino (Molino) Leon) played for the Atlanta Braves for his entire 6 year career. Leon broke into the bigs on July 18, 1973 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 2.64 ERA in 75 innings pitched in 1974, his rookie year.

There is some disagreement on what was Max Leon's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1974, when he posted a 2.64 ERA. However, others believe that it was 1975, when he posted a 4.13 ERA and struck out 53 batters.
