Max Flack (Max John Flack) was born on February 5, 1890 in Belleville, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1914 for the Chicago Whales. In 1914, his rookie year, he hit .247 with 2 home runs and 39 RBI. Flack played for the Chicago Whales, Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Max Flack's best season was 1915, when he stole 37 bases and hit for a .314 average.
