Max Fiske (Max Joseph Fiske) was born on September 27, 1913 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Pullman Tech (Chicago, IL), Fiske attended Depaul University. Fiske made his professional debut in the NFL in 1936 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1937 was Max Fiske's best year.
